The Villages at Marcola Meadows

LandCurrent served as associate landscape architecture firm with Satre Associates as the prime consultant on the Master Plan for a 100 acre unique development. LandCurrent provided schematic design alternatives for several areas of the project, often in very close collaboration between Satre Associates and 2-Form, the project's architecture firm. In addition, LandCurrent worked with Satre staff to develop design guidelines and a signage plan. The Masterplan and Guidelines describe a future for The Villages at Marcola Meadows as a livable, walkable high-quality neighborhood comprised of distinct, yet interconnected villages. The villages are characterized by human-scaled buildings and linked open spaces featuring shallow streams and meadow habitats.
